Why I Love City Directories - Nancy Walczyk
Join us as we start 2020 by sharpening our research capabilities. Meet Nancy Walcyyk, the Director of Research for the Tennessee Genealogical Society, a position which she has held since 2016. She has been researching her own family (which, sadly contains no Tennessee ancestors) for twenty years.
City Directories are gold mines of genealogical information. This presentation covers the types of genealogical information that can be found City Directories, how directories can be used to break through brick walls in your research, and how they can be used to flesh out information about your ancestor.
